Anthony C.
My name is Anthony, I am a husband and father of two. We are a christian family with a strong emphasis on leading life Christ first. My background is in health and wellness. I have a specialized honours in kinesiology and health sciences as well as 3 years of study in Chiropractic college. I have owned and operated my own personal training business through a Vaughan program called "Summer company". I'm an avid gym goer and passionate about natural health products. I've worked in supplements and health for over 6 years. I practice what I preach by living a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy resistance training and a healthy diet as well as getting outdoors to walk our two dogs twice a day. On a personal level I have a lot of experience caring for children and seniors. My mom ran an in home daycare as far back as I can remember. When I reached of age I began to babysit privately on my own. Further to that, I enjoyed looking after my 6 nieces and nephews through their developing years. Finally having kids of my own has shown itself to be the biggest blessing and opportunity to hone my skills as a care giver. In regards to senior care, I've had the privilege of treating patients in that cohort, during my clinical experience at Chiropractic College. Also, I've looked after my dad who had type 1 diabetes my entire life as well as cancer for 4 years. I've also looked after my grandfather who had dementia and was bedridden. Caring for the young and elderly and those with disabilities has been a lifelong passion and interest.
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) Clinic. As a chiropractic intern I was honoured to work with people of various health conditions/challenges ranging from cerebral palsy to simply old age limitations. Moreover, I used my education in kinesiology to offer personal training services which gained me experience in optimizing ones health and wellness. Looking after my father during his bout of cancer and diabetes helped me gain valuable experience both in home and in hospital. Furthermore, caring for my grandfather who had dementia showed itself to be a challenging but valuable experience both on a personal and experiential level.
