my name is Luz and I am a 24-year-old woman from Quebec. Although I don't have any previous working experience in senior/health care, I am ready to start immediately. I am available on Monday mornings and nights, Wednesday mornings, middle of the day, and nights, Thursday mornings, middle of the day, and nights, Friday mornings and evenings, Tuesday middle of the day and nights. I am open to relocation and can also travel. I have a valid driver's license but unfortunately, do not have a vehicle that I can use on the job. However, I am a non-smoker and can swim well. I don't have any children of my own, but I am comfortable working with children with disabilities. I am seeking part-time employment and I am open to both live-in and live-out arrangements. My educational background includes caregiver/companion training, home support worker certification, and a first aid certificate. In terms of the job I am looking for, I am interested in caregiver/companion or personal support worker roles. I am comfortable performing various duties such as housekeeping, laundry, meal planning/preparation, bathroom cleaning, assisting with pet care, walking, vacuuming, handwashing dishes, and escorting to appointments. I am also experienced in providing assistance with bathing, Alzheimer/dementia care, palliative care, home supervision, Parkinson's care, lifts and transfers, tube feeding, dressing and grooming assistance, toileting assistance, and range of motion exercises. I prefer working in home health care, retirement homes, or clinic/hospital settings. Throughout my caregiving experience, I have worked with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, cancer, stroke, bedridden conditions, hospice care, diabetes, osteoporosis, visual impairment, paralysis, amputees, decubitus ulcers, arthritis, chemotherapy/radiation treatment, hearing impairment, fractured hip, hepatitis, cataract removal, brain tumors, malnutrition, ventilator dependency, quad/paraplegic care, speech impairment, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and shingles. Although I do not have a police check at the moment, I am a Haitian citizen who can fluently communicate in English and French. I have also worked as a personal assistant for an adult. I helped with tasks such as organizing schedules, managing appointments, and handling administrative responsibilities. It was an interesting and fulfilling experience!
