Kelly M.
I wanted to work in the same place where I did my clinical and practicum at Westview Hospital. I found myself so pressed for time trying to get 8 clients up, groomed, and down to the dining hall by 9 am. I want to spend more quality time by visiting them in the morning while grooming and dressing them. I will make excellent meals and offer more visit and outdoor time if they are comfortable walking or in a chair. As a veteran, I simply want to fill their void of loneliness because they will be doing me that favor every day.
Graduated from the Sprottshaws Class of 2025, I prefer to work privately. As a 51-year-old war veteran, I find that I can spend more time with my wonderful clients this way, rather than being on a strict schedule every morning. This allows for a more quality time with them, which they deserve.
