I also love to cook and I am very organize and clean. Please don't hesitate to call or email me. My client who passed away at age 100 years gave me a very good recommendation 3 months prior to his demise. Most of my previous employers or clients I took care were attached to me and treated me like a family. They appreciate how I take care of them and family members are very appreciative as well. I treated them like my own family. I am very generous in terms of taking care of my clients. I am not there just for the money. I am there to help them fulfill their needs and be a blessing to them and their families. I am so thankful to God for giving me these great values that i can be able to share and apply to all my clients in general.

I felt very satisfied that I've touched families through my dedication, compassion and hard working values that exceeds their expectation. I am very grateful to all the families that I have helped, for their kindness and appreciation.
From February 2024-January 2025. My recent client who just passed away was an 83 years old female. Apart from her Dementia, She had some serious medical issues physically and mentally that made her bedridden after months of hospitalization. She was living with her family. I took care of her 12 hours a day, 5 days a week and sometimes, I cover some weekends when my colleague can't come to work. I was very devoted to help my client and her family until the day she died. I cooked for her breakfast and the daughter in law cooked food for their lunch and dinner. I always make sure that I entertained her. I always tried to convinced and encouraged her regarding personal hygiene and I cut her finger nails every week if possible.
From March 2022-December 2023. Prior to my recent client, I also took care of a very nice gentleman, 91 years old, who has an advanced Dementia, it got worsen after he got covid and been sick since then. For 10 months I was with him, it was one of the job i enjoyed . Most of the time, his wife was away for 2 weeks and I stayed live-in to take care of him and also to supervised other workers from the agency. His wife entrusted him to me and i was the only one who can shower him. They were great couple. Now, the wife became my friend. Gladly, they both liked my cooking. I cooked some Filipino food and they liked it. He passed away holding my hands.
From June 2021-March 2022. I took care of an 87 years old Female who was just recovering from Stroke and also has mild Dementia. She was wheelchair bound. I did personal care, cooking and housekeeping. She lived with her husband but he was sick as well. Their daughter came and live with them and she decided to take care of her parents with some help from the government.
August 2015-May 2021. I worked at the Valley Stream Manor ( Revera company). I worked at the Dementia Unit where each worker holds 6-8 clients. It was enjoyable but very stressful.
From July 2011-June 2015. My client for 4 years passed away at age 99 yrs and 11 months. He was a very good gentleman. He was a Retired Doctor and also an Air Force Officer. He live alone in his big house then one day he got unconscious and fell on the floor. Gladly, he was able to recover a bit and was able to reached the phone and called 911. He was taken to the hospital then after he got discharged, he was brought to a nursing home where he stayed for 3 months and he didn't like it at all. He insisted to his family that he wants to go home. The daughter was searching for workers and was able to find me from the health workers hub online. After they hired me, We worked together harmoniously with the client and all the family members. I took care of their father full time. Because of my expertise and my nursing skills, it was a great bonus for my client and family because lots of times, I raised some medical issues to his family doctor which helped prevented some illness from getting worst. My client and i both loved gardening. Every spring, he asked me to prepare some seedlings and get it ready. I took him out at the backyard on a nice day, he sat on his chair watching me doing gardening. We planted different kind of vegetables. My client and all family members like my cooking and most of the time, they come to the house and eat in there. I also cut my client's hair, this way he save his time, money and effort to go to the barber. Every Remembrance Day, I took him to the Beechwood Cemetery where he always have to go and lay the wreath in memory of the Dead Soldiers. He was the one who made the Beechwood Cemetery as the Military Cemetery. He has a small garden just in front the Beechwood Cemetery and it's named under him, John David Roger. As years passed by, he became weaker and weaker until he got cough and colds, then it turned into pneumonia. The house call Doctor came to see him and said it's part of old age. We celebrated his birthday a month before he passed away. It was just the two of us in the room and he was holding my hands. He kept on pulling my hand and kiss it then hold it tight until i felt his hand got loosen and that was his last breath.
I also worked with a private agency and I looked after a Palliative client but she passed away after 6 months due to lung cancer. This was my part time client on my off days.
June 2010- July 2011. Another elderly disabled client I took care was 76 years old. I also did all around job. Personal care, assisting her to do exercise, bringing her to Doctor's appointment and sometimes go shopping, preparing meals, house keeping, sewing her clothes, washing clothes and gardening. I used to bring her to Montreal via Train on a Friday afternoon, then her son will be waiting for us at the train Station in Montreal. We stay there for 2 days then come back to Ottawa on Monday afternoon. My contract with this employer and client ended but I still took care of her till she was taken by her son to Montreal to live with them.
September 2009-July 2010, I used to take care a severe spastic and quadriplegic adult. She was 19 years old then. It was really a close care. I have to do personal care like bathing, grooming, preparing meals and feeding her. She used to be on a PEG tube feeding for 6 months then shifted to osteorized feeding till she finally was able to eat normal food again. I also have to arrange Doctor's appointments, and bringing her to rehab every week. I took care of her like my own daughter. I loved her a lot. She was confined at the Rehab center as an in-patient so I was not needed anymore, but we kept our relationship until now.
