Hello! My name is Chanda. I am a 47-year-old PSW from Ottawa, originating from the Philippines. I have five years of extensive experience in healthcare, having served patients in both Taiwan and Canada. My areas of expertise include newborns and children up to the age of 7, whom I always treat with love, as if they were my own. I have been well-trained in numerous caregiving tasks, from housekeeping and meal planning/preparation to more specific patient care tasks. These include administering Alzheimer's/Dementia and palliative care, and assisting with physical activities such as walking and range-of-motion exercises. I have worked with patients suffering from Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Diabetes, and visual and hearing impairments, among other conditions. I'm passionate about my work, finding joy in engaging my charges in playful activities, arts and crafts, and baking.
