With two decades of both public and private healthcare experience, I am Kormassa. I am based in Nepean and hold an array of esteemed certificates, including a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate, Health Care Aides (HCA) Certificate, a First Aid Certificate, and a CPR certificate. My education has been further bolstered by my practical experiences, having the opportunity to work within clinics, hospitals, home health care settings, as well as retirement homes. My services include but are not limited to: oxygen administration, ambulation assistance, heavy patient lifting and transfer, a Hoyer lift capability, bed pan management, as well as bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance. To promote an active lifestyle, I assist with range-of-motion exercises. Not limited to personal care, I also offer household upkeep including cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning, and preparation. I can also run errands, accompany to appointments, and plan visits or outings. An experienced caregiver, I am competent in administering specialized treatments such as Alzheimer/Dementia care, Palliative care, Parkinson care, Tube feeding, Patient positioning, Catheter/Colostomy care, and bed baths amongst others. Available throughout the week from morning till evening, I am currently seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker position.
