My name is Jaiden. I’m 25 years old, and grew up in Uxbridge, Ontario. I attended school at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario (2018-2021) studying Business. I have since been working a multitude of different jobs including residential cleaning, childcare, teacher’s aide, social media specialist, delivery driving, and running my own small business (laser engraving). After years of working, I have decided that I wish to return to school to finish my Business degree at Algonquin College. My program start date is January 2025. I will be a full-time student with classes throughout the week. My program will run from January 2025-August 2027. I am unsure of my plans after this point in time. I am looking for a live-in position as a caregiver of some sort. I am open to a multitude of different opportunities so I welcome you to reach out! I am comfortable with meal prep, running errands, cleaning & tidying, shopping, childcare, elderly care, personal support, companionship, pet care, etc.. I would be more than happy being a “personal assistant” of sorts for your family, picking up the slack wherever it’s needed. I have 8+ years working as a nanny for a multitude of different families, caring for children ages 3-12 years. I have worked in a Retirement Home preparing and serving meals to the elderly. I have worked in a couple of different restaurants preparing and serving food to guests. I have worked as a residential cleaner, cleaning for clients in private homes. My most recent job was in Quebec as a teacher’s aide. I taught English to students in grades 1-6. A little bit about me: I am a very friendly, upbeat, mature and respectful individual. I have a passion for cooking healthy, balanced meals, as well as baking. I prioritize intuitive eating and enjoy fueling my body with fresh, healthy foods that make my body and mind thrive. I am an active individual and enjoy working out on a regular basis (runs, walks, weight-lifting, pilates, yoga, etc.). I enjoy doing home workouts as well as going to the gym (whatever fits into the schedule!). I am very creative and enjoy making personalized creations with my small laser-engraving business. I love nature and being outdoors for hikes, skiing, sitting in the sun, etc.. I also love reading. Although I am outgoing and very comfortable interacting with others, I am definitely an introvert! I love my time alone to recharge my social battery and gain energy. Although I am looking for a live-in position— I guarantee it would not feel like I am invading your space or personal family time. I have lived on my own for many years and am used to having my own little apartment (or in this case, I’m assuming a bedroom) to unwind and do my own thing.
