Hi, I am Daphnie, born and raised in Ottawa. I speak both French and English and am currently learning the basics of ASL online. I am a married mother of 2 girls and one big fur baby named Odin. During the summer months, you will find me outside. I love to go for exploratory walks and set my hammock between two trees with a good book. I also enjoy gardening in my small garden at home and local community garden. In the winter I prefer to hibernate and bake, however, I have started snowboarding lessons and look forward to continuing to learn this winter. I am always open mined to trying new things and gaining new skills. Prior to covid I was a restaurant manager and have extensive customer service skills and knowledge. While at home I decided I wanted to help our overloaded health care system and studied to become a PSW. Now a year into my new career, I want to continue to learn and branch into learning more skills to further my career. I am passionate about restorative care and continue to learn techniques to further the independence of my residents.
