I am familiar with catheter/colostomy care and capable of providing bed baths, using a Hoyer lift if necessary, and assisting with dressing and grooming. I have experience working with patients diagnosed with dementia, stroke, bedridden individuals, diabetes, incontinence requiring diapers, paralysis, and quad/paraplegic care. I have experienced caring for my mom who suffered a stroke, had dementia and was bedridden for over a year, my sister in law who was sick with ALS for over six months, with an 82 year old lady with dementia, a gentleman who suffered a stroke and a wheelchair bound couple with the husband requiring a lift for transfers. I can cook and maintain a clean house/apartment, I’m good at multitasking .
