I am a graduate and a BC registered health care assistant. I'm applying for this role because I care about the elderly. I am a kind, loving, and patient person with a deep desire to help individuals who are unable to care for themselves. I acquired my training in home care, assisted living, and long-term care settings.

For over 3 years, I worked as a companion for the elderly, and been a live-in caregiver for 17 years. I occasionally drove clients to appointments and shopping. I maintain the environment neat and orderly to lower the chance of a fall. My key tasks in assisted living and long-term care are to help seniors with daily activities including getting out of bed, dressing, bathing, washing, grooming, feeding, peri care, and etc. I learned how to cope with a wide range of behavioural issues and aggressive residents.
