Mimo A.
My name is Mimoyemi but most people just call me Mimo. I am 35 years old and I have garnered significant experience, working within the health care system for over 3 years. I am presently based in Lasalle and possess a Class 5 Drivers License, paired with a reliable and insured vehicle which greatly aids my work. After having trained and acquired a range of academic qualifications including a Bachelor’s Degree, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate and a First Aid Certificate, I am fully equipped to start work immediately. I am open to full-time or part-time roles, preferably as a caregiver or personal support worker in home health care settings, retirement homes, clinics or hospitals which give me the opportunity to utilise my skills fully. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with patients diagnosed with a variety of conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, cancer, and more, gaining invaluable knowledge in patient care and support. My responsibilities in past roles have covered a broad spectrum of tasks. I am adept at assisting with basic health tasks such as oxygen administration, ambulation assistance, patient lifting and transfer, as well as managing various household duties like meal planning, grocery shopping, other errands, and pet care. My training also extends to palliative and Parkinson’s care, assistance with bathing, grooming, lifting, transfers, injections, tube feeding, catheter and colostomy care. I am available to work at any time of the day, across all seven days of the week. I remain committed to providing holistic care to my clients, helping them plan visits and outings to ensure a well-rounded experience. You can be rest assured that both quality and compassion will be at the forefront of my service. Looking forward to taking on the responsibility of looking after your healthcare needs.
