Shannon K.
I am a hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate young lady who is currently working to achieve her nursing licence. I have 6+ years experience working with Elder Adults (my personal favourite client population) and have been told that my “Old Soul”traits make me a wonderful fit for companionship of the elder adult and senior healthcare services. I have a great appreciation for maintaining and sustaining quality of life and will work hard to ensure the moments I spend with your loved one are special and enjoyable moments for them. In assisting with the health care/basic ADLs of your loved one, I hope to improve the lives of their families and ease the weight of caregiving so that you too can live your best life alongside your loved one. Safety and comfort are my main priorities; willing to tailor my service to any family’s individual/unique needs in order to provide a helping hand and enrich the lives of their children/loved ones. I am a runner, skier, singer, avid-sudoku player and crossword enthusiast; I enjoy nature and outdoor activities, and I am an extremely passionate nurse-in-training, highly engaged in my studies. Thought I don’t have any of my own, I love and am open to caring for all pets. Most of all, I strive to ensure that your choice in welcoming me into the lives of your loved one, will yield a positive experience for the entire family; Allowing you less stress, and more time on your hands to focus on enjoying the moments we have with our families.
