I am Rachael, a dedicated health care professional with over 10 years of proven experience providing quality care to a variety of patients. Certified in Caregiving, Home Support Work, First Aid, and CPR, I am proficient in various duties, including oxygen administration, ambulation assistance, heavy patient lifting and transfer, meal planning, bathing, dressing, toileting assistance and housekeeping. I also specialize in palliative and dementia care, Parkinson's care, tube feeding, catheter care, and Alzheimer's care among others. At present, I am available to work full-time, any day of the week, at any time of the day, making me a highly flexible fit for any schedules. My experience extends to working in home health care, retirement homes, and clinic/hospital settings. As a compassionate caregiver, I have worked with patients with a range of medical conditions, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson's, dementia, cancer, stroke, diabetes, hearing and vision impairment, arthritis among others. Comfortable in a live-in or live-out arrangement, I am eager to employ my knowledge and skills to foster a comfortable, safe and healthy environment for my patients. My Canadian citizenship and fluency in English, combined with my non-smoking lifestyle ensures that I am able to cater to a wide range of patient needs.
