my name is Cheryl. I am a 43-year-old mom of a 2-year-old and a 10-year-old. I recently moved to Calgary from BC, where I lived for 17 years. I am a Filipino-Canadian citizen. I recently graduated as a Health Care Assistant from Drake Medox College in Vancouver. Before studying the HCA course, I worked as a child caregiver for 10 years. I have experience in taking care of newborns, premature babies, twins, and school-age children. Because of my passion for caring for other people, I decided to study as a health care assistant in order to learn and understand how to care for a variety of people and how to provide support to those who are sick, elderly, or have disabilities that prevent them from taking care of themselves. It's a rewarding career and I put ‘genuine love’ into every person I care for.

I’m fresh graduated of Health Care Assistant and registered in BC health care registry I am now waiting for the completion of my HCA alberta registry, I have practicum experienced in both multilevel complex Care and Home support/ Assisted living.
