I am a 44 year old female. I have operated a private dayhome for almost 16 years. All my dayhome children attend school, which leaves me free time for approx. 3 hours in the mornings Monday to Thursdays (excluding school closure days) in which I would like to obtain a position helping care for and be a companion for either a senior who could use some help and socialization or a person with disabilities or child/family that could use a few hours of help per day. My evenings are also free, as my children are now 16 and 19 years of age. So I could also help in the evenings and some hours on the weekends as required. I have my own vehicle with $2 000 000 liability insurance as well as my first aid with cpr. Willing to transport to appts, take shopping or out for meals, social activities, etc.

I worked for Lethbridge Family Services doing home care and companion services. I have many years experience caring for my mother and grandparents that had various medical and physical conditions/disabilities and dementia. I have also operated my own dayhome for almost 16 years caring for children.
