Shamim M.
I’m a compassionate and experienced Health Care Aide with a strong background in nursing. I started working in healthcare in 2004 in England and have continued providing care ever since. I’m certified and registered in Alberta and have worked in long-term care, home care, and supportive living. What drives me is the ability to make a difference in someone’s daily life. I focus on person-centred care, empathy, and respecting each client’s dignity. My previous nursing education helps me understand health conditions and work closely with nurses and other care team members. I’m also a single mother, so I value strong communication, patience, and work-life balance. I believe in lifelong learning and always look for ways to improve my skills and give the highest quality of care.”
