I am a certified PSW I have experience looking after the elderly, mentally challenged, young children from new borns to adults. I am an efficient and reliable worker. I am currently working with a special needs child who has very high medical needs. I have looked after children ranging from new born to 13 years of age. I went back to school to complete my DSW through Fanshawe College. I am a helpful, and compassion person who is willing to give a helpful hand to others in need. My passion is being able to help families and others and at the same time is to find balance in my own life as we all get caught up and busy.

I am a certified PSW who has many years experience providing supports in the clients home as well as LTC. I have worked with all kinds of populations. Experience looking after Alzheimer’s disease, stroke victims, Parkinson’s, motor vehicle accidents, acquired brain injury. I do have experience preparing special diets, diabetic trained, medication trained. I went back to school to obtain my Developmental Service Worker Diploma through Fanshawe College. We learned about Core Competencies, how to support people, I have learned to look at the person first than their disability. First language is something we strongly focused on as well. I have learned a lot in the classroom as well as on placement where I did 3 placements in the school, and in a group home looking after adults with a developmental disability.
