I am Suyoga, from Kitchener. I am an internationally registered nurse and have been working as a PSW in Canada for the last three years. I understand the needs of my clients, as I am patient, compassionate, and my nursing background helps me to provide better care for them.

Duties and Responsibilities: -Assisted up to 17 residents per day. -Assisted client complete activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting. -Assisted client with dementia, challenging behaviour, disabilities and Alzheimer's disease. -Worked clients with COVID. -Helped Client to clean and maintain eyeglasses, dentures, and hearing aids. -Provided preventative care to client by positioning and applying skin care -treatments to prevent/treat sores. -Helped with ambulation, and transferred client utilizing electric/manual equipment and lifting devices. -Cleaned and organized client rooms; replaced soiled linen and removed trash from all rooms. -Assessed client well-being, including vitals, weight, blood glucose level, daily input/outputs document and report changes in health status to supervising healthcare providers. -Tracked behaviors to keep the healthcare supervisor well - informed. -Experienced working in community, retirement home, long-term care and hospital environment. -Excellent documentation knowledge and computer skills. - I have Standard First Aid and CPR- BLS / AED Certification.
