Greetings, My name is Mukund , a dedicated and compassionate nurse, with a Bachelor's in Nursing from India, and a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate from Conestoga College, Kitchener, ON. Throughout my career that spans over 3 years, I have been devoted to providing personal care and medical support to patients from varying medical backgrounds, working as an emergency nurse and as a personal support worker. I have extensive experience with several patient diagnoses including but not limited to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Cancer, and Stroke. My professional skills are wide-ranging, covering everything from oxygen administration, bed pan usage, catheter/ colostomy care, heavy patient lifting & transfer, all the way to housekeeping tasks, meal planning/preparation, and even escorting patients to appointments. I'm seeking a full-time live-out position, preferably in Home Health Care, Retirement Homes or clinics/hospitals in Kitchener. My commitment to serving patients and helping them maintain the best possible quality of life has always been integral to my practice. I am familiar with the challenges of dementia care, palliative care, and Parkinson care. Additionally, I'm able to work with children with disabilities, and provide much-needed support to them. Given my flexible schedule, I am available at all times during each day of the week. I am fully prepared to accommodate scheduling needs and am eager to start from the 16th of August, 2024. Provides effective counseling and crisis intervention with members. Assist members in obtaining/ maintaining employment opportunities. Plans and participates in recreational activities.
