I cannot speak highly enough about Simone and how truly thankful my family and I are that she was available when we truly needed her. It seems, even now, that my father was fine one day and passed away the next. In truth, he rapidly declined over the span of about 4 weeks. I was at a loss for knowing how to care for him and CCAC/LHIN is very procedural and is not a quick solution. Simone is experienced, incredibly knowledgeable and kind-hearted. She was dependable and I had no hesitation in having her care for my father when I couldn't be with him - and even when I could. She provided a comfort to my father, and to me and my sister. She truly was a gift.

Work as a caregiver and housekeeper for Marcia's clients

To whom it may concern: From July through December 2018, we arranged care for our 94-year-old mother through a business operated by Marcia. During that time Ms. D employed Simone as my mother's main care-giver. Ms. Simone provided a broad range of services, including morning showers; helping to dress and undress; preparing and serving light meals; supervising medications; and, recording of blood pressure readings. She helped with laundry; maintained a clean environment; and assisted my mother with daily activities which included physical exercise & massage. She also provided regular feedback of relevant information and accompanied my mother on medical appointments as needed. During her time with us, Simone was punctual and reliable. She appeared a dedicated, competent and caring individual, able to think on her feet, and she became a very important part of my mother's overall care. I appreciated her efforts on behalf of my mother and would recommend her to anyone needing similar help without reservation. Jeanette
