I am an individual who always seek for greater heights. By doing this, taking the time to achieve my goals is necessary. Also, aside from being goal driven, as a Filipino, family has always been my priority and having their support just makes everything much easier and lighter. It is for this very reason that I want to work as a caregiver, to be able to provide companion and care for people who need it the most. Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur( May 2017 - June 2018) Cabugao Ilocos Sur ( January 2019 - September 2019) Laoag City, Ilocos Norte ( December 2019 - December 2020) Manila, Philippines ( May 2021 - Novermber 2022) Caregiving is never an easy job. One must have deep understanding to an individual's emotional being. Throughout my years of experience, I have learned that treating my client like a family makes the job much easier. Getting close to and taking the time to know the patient more is really a must. This way, one would know what must be done and provided.

Hi, my name is Freida, a dedicated healthcare professional currently based in Edmonton. My journey as a caregiver started in the Philippines where I was registered as a nurse before I expanded my experience in the UK's senior care homes. I am particularly passionate about treating those under my care as family, offering the same level of care and compassion I'd want for my own parents. I'm known for being loving, trustworthy, honest, and highly reliable. Additionally, I am blessed with tremendous flexibility, able and willing to adjust my schedule to accommodate my clients' needs. Over the years, I have built significant care skills, specializing in an array of duties including laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, errands running, and assisting in pet care. I am also well-versed in senior-specific care, including dementia, palliative, and Parkinson's care, lifting and transfers, bathing assistance, among many others. My experiences have allowed me to work with a broad spectrum of diagnoses and I have enjoyed every opportunity to improve the lives and well-being of my patients. I am open to live-in or live-out arrangements and am seeking full or part-time employment. Despite lacking a driver's license, I've always been able to ensure I am available and reliable at all times and can travel or even relocate if need be. With my education backed by a bachelor's degree, I can provide specialized support for patients in home health care settings or retirement homes. I'm a native Tagalog speaker but I am also proficient in English, enabling me to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Optimistic, dedicated, and genuinely caring, I am eager to share my skills with your loved ones and make a positive impact in their lives. I am available to begin work immediately and look forward to joining your family in caring for your senior loved ones. Let's discuss further how I can be of support to you. I did a part time on senior home in Bolters in The UK most especially elders with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I am a graduate of Nursing and also a Registered Nurse in The Philippines.

My name is Marsha. I am single, and a Filipino. I took care of my sick parent during my stay in the Philippines. Now that they are okay, I would like to share my experiences with others. I've learned that you don't have to be knowledgeable in nursing or caregiving to take care of a sick person. Heart and passion are the most important aspects. Its fun to be with them

I'm Virginia, a dedicated caregiver based in Edmonton with 7+ years of experience. I offer a comprehensive skillset beyond standard caregiving, including housekeeping, garden and pet care, and tutoring. Personal experiences with my son's severe allergies have taught me caution and attentiveness in caregiving. I also adhere strictly to dietary and cleanliness protocols. Available for full-time and part-time roles, I’m committed to providing top-level, home-based care .As a non-smoker, with Canadian citizenship, your loved ones’ health and well-being are my priority. My expertise covers several conditions, like Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cancer, Diabetes, and more. Along with a Bachelor’s degree, I am proficient in English and Tagalog, and can provide a recent police check with VULNERABLE SEARCH (completed on 21 FEBRUARY 2024). I offer proficient, reliable care while maintaining a clean home. I can start immediately. Thanks for considering me. I have worked for seven (7) years as a member of the healthcare support team (being the cook ) in an ASSISTED SENIOR RETIREMENT FACILITY that provides accommodation/recreation/food services. It was a demanding and challenging role as I worked as a ‘ONE-MAN ‘team in the kitchen, a solo multi-tasker. The facility is home and convent to RETIRED FRENCH NUNS with the goal of providing utmost care to the overall aspects of their well-being as seniors. Just like in any other facility, the residents’ needs differ in profile. Most of them have health issues, nutritional requirements, food sensitivities /allergies and personal food preferences that must be professionally addressed and complied with for the betterment of their own health, safety and overall comfort and well-being. There were times I was the one in charge to look after those nuns who preferred not to go out or join certain outings due to their incapacity to do so on their own (i.e., with IMPAIRED VISION, CANCER, LUPUS, DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMER’S, WHEELCHAIR- BOUND, etc.) Supervision of some nuns who were assigned to do light work in the kitchen was part of my job too. Their tasks involved as helpers in drying some dishes and putting them away as a sort of mental exercise and keep them active especially those with mild signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s. I can attest it takes a lot of patience and compassion to direct and manage such type of old volunteers for a cause. However, it’s a self-fulfilling accomplishment on my part to be a mentor and team-player. Moreover, I have ample experience being a caregiver of my very own mom before I migrated here to Canada, a duty I still devotedly perform every time I visit her in the Philippines. She’s blessed to be 95 years old now and still enjoying her life, though having some signs of cognitive decline inherent to her old age (DEMENTIA). I just visited her last OCT - DEC 2023 and served as her main PERSONAL CAREGIVER for almost 3 months. I provided all aspects of FULL CARE to my mom —toileting, diapering, bathing, brushing teeth, dressing up, taking care of hygiene and skin care, cooking, feeding, massaging, simple exercises, providing emotional support, administering medications, etc ). As added complement, I am very adept with housekeeping as we used to own a cleaning company franchise for fifteen (15) years with myself as worker too in charge of quality control. Besides, upkeep of our very own home and chores are part of our daily lives. To summarize, in me is a skilled, highly organized, compassionate and reliable CAREGIVER, COOK, HOUSEKEEPER, someone with professional work ethics and amiable personality. Thank you for reaching out to my profile.
