My name is Karen and I am 37 years old. I am originally from the Philippines, but I now reside in Canada as a Permanent Resident. Before migrating to Montreal, I worked as a nurse in Singapore for over six years. My experience in that role proved to me my capabilities as an effective and efficient healthcare provider. I have a passion for delivering quality care to patients and empowering other staff members to uphold high service standards. In my work at Ren Ci Hospital, I was responsible for the care and medical supervision of up to 20 patients. Coordinating with the entire workforce was another vital part of my role. During this time, my colleagues and superiors recognized me as a dedicated, ambitious, and reliable individual who can work effectively without supervision. In addition to my work in Singapore, I also served as a nurse in the Philippines for over six years. I believe my experience makes me an ideal candidate for a caregiver role. Personally, I am an outgoing, cheerful, and compassionate person with a bubbly demeanor. I love singing, biking, traveling to new places, and learning about different cultures. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, and composing songs. I am fond of the colors blue and green, either separately or combined.
