Jagjeet K.
I’m a registered nurse and have active registration with CRNA. I moved to Alberta from BC in this January. I m currently seeking a RN job or health care provider job in home setting. I have multiple years of experience in providing care to seniors.
I am a registered nurse. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and leading nursing students as the Vice Principal of a nursing college. This experience has allowed me to develop strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills, which I know are essential in a nursing environment. I have also honed my ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people, from students to faculty to patients and families. These skills will enable me to engage with residents and colleagues at long term care or home care in a compassionate and clear manner. In addition, I hold a Cognitive Impairment Certificate, which has given me a deeper understanding of the specific needs of people with dementia and other cognitive challenges. I worked in long-term care settings in the past, I have built a comprehensive knowledge of wound management, infection control, palliative care, and dementia care through both my teaching and ongoing professional development. These are areas where I am eager to apply my skills and continue growing in a practical setting.
