I missed working with patients but this was what worked best for our family at the time. I feel that keeping seniors living in their homes independently is huge for them. Sometimes they just need a little help. I would love to be that help. Whether it is running errands, helping with housework, helping with daily living needs or exercises, or simply being a companion. Four years ago I also took care of my elderly neighbor as she was dying of lung cancer. I feel this gives me some experience, as well as my physio background, into working with seniors and helping them meet their needs. I used to work in physiotherapy for 10 years before I became a business owner of a construction company with my husband. I loved working with seniors in clinic/hospital/home settings. I left pysio to raise my children and pursue a different career.
