My name is Elizabeth. I am a 27-year-old from Chile. My experience began when my grandmother had a fall and fractured her hip. Consequently, my mother decided to bring her to live with us. This situation taught me the intricacies of caring for an older adult, especially as her condition worsened over time. In 2023, I moved to Canada to gain more experience and opted to apply for a position in a home care facility that caters to 21 seniors. This venture further honed my skills, which I had earlier applied while caring for my grandmother. Currently, I am employed for private care of an elderly individual on a part-time basis. Hence, I am seeking a supplemental job to balance my work schedule.
