I have gained comprehensive experience as a Health Care Aide through practicums at Park Place Courtyard Terrace and Willingdon Care Centre, as well as my current role with Comfort Keepers. My responsibilities have included assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as mobility, feeding, bathing, dressing, and catheter care, while ensuring their safety and well-being. I have collaborated with care teams to support residents’ physical and mental health by coordinating recreational and social activities, providing holistic care, and accurately documenting changes in their conditions. Additionally, I have experience with housekeeping tasks, preparing meals, medication reminders, and observing and reporting changes in clients’ status and behavior. My work has emphasized maintaining a safe and supportive environment while delivering compassionate care.
