If I were taking care of someone’s pet, I’d start by listening closely to the owner and following their routine as closely as possible, since they know their pet best. Just to be upfront, I don’t have paid experience working with pets yet, but I’m a quick learner and very comfortable being trained on the job. I do have a lot of hands-on experience though, I’ve been around dogs and cats pretty much my whole life through friends and family. Most recently, I took care of a dog named Hazel for a family I stayed with in the U.S. We got along really well.
