I’m Maia, I’m a dedicated and hardworking individual currently training as a millwright, with a background in culinary arts and experience as a line cook. I’m passionate about hands-on work, problem-solving, and continuously learning new skills. I grew up in White Rock, BC, and was raised in a close-knit Filipino family that taught me the value of resilience, loyalty, and always putting in my best effort. While I don’t have parents, I’ve become incredibly independent and goal-driven because of it. I’m determined to build a strong and meaningful career, and I thrive in environments where I can grow and contribute. Outside of work, I’m a fitness enthusiast and proud gym rat — I’m all about self-discipline, pushing limits, and maintaining both physical and mental strength. I’m also interested in trades, the military, and eventually studying law, as I want to build a well-rounded life and make an impact across different industries. I’m reliable, honest, respectful, and always up for a challenge. I bring a positive attitude to everything I do and am excited to take on opportunities that help me build experience and make a difference.

I have 3 cats of my own and I used to pet sit a lot for all my friend’s animals, I know some had bunnies, snakes, bearded dragon once that was pretty cool, obviously most of them had cats and dogs, I love being around animals and caring for them the only thing I won’t do however is pet sit any type of spider, I am terrified of those lol!
