I nonetheless try my absolute best to stay up-to-date with best practices in pet care. I am attentive to signs of illness or distress and will communicate with you promptly if I notice anything concerning. A Little About Me Personally: When I’m not caring for pets, I enjoy exploring nature, reading about animal behaviour, and volunteering at local animal shelters. My home is filled with the joyful sounds of animals, and I cherish every moment spent with my furry, feathered, and scaled friends. My personal experiences caring for a variety of animals have given me invaluable insights into their habits and needs, making me a more compassionate and effective pet caregiver. Additionally, I have my own golden retriever - Labrador mix that is currently 125lbs (not overweight, just a big boy), so I not only love big dogs, but am very much versed in anything and everything that dog-servicing entails, and more. Since a puppy, he has been fed raw food, fresh vegetables, and SOLELY treats that have one to five ingredients (maximum), thus ensuring a healthy, balanced diet all around. Expensive? On an on-and-off basis, I have had to pleasure of helping out friends, co-workers, and family members' with their pets whilst they were either busy with work, out of town, or simply needed the extra help here and there, for well over a decade-and-a-half. Whilst I solely have one dog (125lb Golden Retriever - Labrador mix, 4 years old, and not overweight, just a BIG, big boy/dog) currently, I have owned and/or taken care of dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, lizards, one snake, hamsters, fish of all kinds (salt and fresh water), ferrets, chinchillas, and even a pet coyote and a pet raccoon! So, needless to say, I love and am more than happy to help care for ANY type of non-human animal.
