I'm Sophie, a vibrant 22-year-old university student currently studying at Concordia University. I currently reside in the village and I've been passionate about pet care for my whole life. I have a love for all animals and I am experienced in looking after various pets including cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, and even exotic animals. Having a flexible schedule while studying, I am available pretty much every day from morning to night for drop-in visits to feed and play, dog walking, and house sitting. I can also assist with a range of special tasks including first aid/CPR, administering both oral and injected medication for dogs, taking care of senior or special needs pets, and providing daily exercise for high-energy dogs or other animals. While I don't have a vehicle to use for work, I am very capable of navigating public transit and can travel to your location without any issue. Plus, I'm always ready to welcome your pets in the comfort and safety of my own home. I'm a nonsmoker, a strong swimmer and a speaker of both English and French. I have multiple years of experience in pet care ranging for dog/cat sitting for family friends and neighbors to completing a two year course in veterinary science. This course included splitting time between studying veterinary science and working for a pet grooming service twice a week. Additionally, I have had pets my whole life and am very passionate about caring for them.
