My name is Maliya, I'm from Ottawa, but moved around a lot as a child! I've lived in Europe and the US, and absolutely love traveling and trying new things and experiences. Some of my favourite things to do include swimming, biking, having out in the park on nice days, writing, watching movies, trying new foods, travelling, and meeting new people. I am currently a student at Western University. I studied my first 2 years in nursing, and switched into Media studies. I absolutely love my program because it really illuminates how much media influences our everyday lives. I am single, with no children or pets (sadly they live with my parents) and currently work as a copywriter for SSENSE.

Having my own 2 dogs, one German Shepard and a little mix of everything, I decided to pet sit on the side for extra income! Privileged to be apart of the military member community, I had the opportunity to pet sit a variety if different animals since I was 17. Typically, I do drop in's and love a good walk. The best part of living where I live is all the trails and parks which I can absolutely spend my entire days in.
