My name is Arden, a 24-year-old animal enthusiast, located in West Vancouver. Not only am I a proud Canadian citizen, but I also hold dual citizenship in America. I find joy in spending my time with animals of various shapes and sizes and have a significant inclination towards nature and wildlife. My fascination with the environment, ecology, biology, and zoology has constantly kept me inquisitive about animal behavior and healthcare.
Even though I don't have any formal job experience in pet care, I have dedicated a significant amount of my time volunteering for animal welfare. From assisting at the SCPA during my high school years to spending many productive hours at a local animal rescue shelter, I have gained substantial experience in handling animals with varying needs and personalities. In addition, I spent a year at Kitchener Stray Cat Rescue where I dealt with many 40 cat residents, providing them with care and comfort. My volunteering experience ranges from cuddling and playing with animals to administering necessary healthcare and improving their general wellbeing.
I am available for work 6 days a week, at virtually any time of day. Monday is my only day of rest. In terms of relocation or travel, I'm fully open to both. Being the proud owner of an Ontario Full G License and a vehicle, I can travel effortlessly for work when required.

I can also help with brushing teeth/fur and house-sitting.
I am comfortable working with a variety of pets including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, exotic animals, fish and others. I believe every pet deserves loving dedication, and I am excited to contribute towards their quality of life!
a testament to my commitment, I've received training certification in animal first aid/CPR and pet care. I am fluent in English and excited to deepen my understanding of animal healthcare, husbandry, grooming, nursing, and general caretaking.

Animals, no matter the shape or size, are my life, no question. I have always been fascinated with nature and wildlife; I was always the party-attendee sitting with the host's pet instead of being social, haha. I am deeply enthusiastic about animals and pets and am very eager to continue doing my part to give back to the beautiful, fuzzy snuggly critters that we rescue.I am so excited to deepen my understanding of science, ecology, biology, zoology, the environment, etc. Animal behavior, medicine, and their loving influence on humankind are genuinely fascinating. I want to learn even more about animal healthcare, husbandry, grooming, nursing, and general caretaking.
