Kiki V.
I am someone who finds joy in simple things like a brisk morning run, a peaceful hike, or a leisurely walk with my daughter and our dogs. Animals are a huge part of my life. I have 8 chickens and 2 rabbits, and my two dogs with their quirky personalities always bring a smile to my face. For years, I have also run an animal boarding service, mostly caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. It is a privilege to provide a safe and happy space for pets while their owners are away, and I truly love what I do.
My name is Kyarah but everyone calls me Kiki. I am 25 years old and have had all kinds of pets from a young age, such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, chickens, goats, etc. I loved every second of learning about all the animals, from learning about them physically to learning about their health and habits. I still love learning new things about all kinds of animals to this day. I now own a 4-year-old Rottweiler named Athena. We love going on hikes or trail walks/runs, and our favorite season is summer because we both absolutely love the water. Athena has been through some hard times, and through that, she has taught me a lot. Athena was a stillborn that I brought back to life by giving her CPR and stimulating her with gentle but vigorous rubbing. After reviving her, I had to become her mother, doing all the things her actual mother would do such as stimulating potty time, bottle feeding, burping, cleaning, etc. At 2 1/2 years old, Athena got sick and needed half of her small intestine removed. Recovery was rough because she is such a happy, outgoing, playful pup who just wanted to be her good old outdoorsy self. After a few months of us both learning so much, she was finally back to being happy and playing in the water. All in all, our family bond is beyond words. She is like my child, my fur baby.
