I currently live near the border of Vancouver/ Richmond and work as a nanny. I love spending time outdoors and going on walks and hikes up in our beautiful mountains. I am looking for work primarily in the mornings before I began my nanny job mid day. I’d be more than happy to take your dog for a walk or stop by and feed your cat when needed! My experience in dog/ cat sitting includes being a nanny for a family with two young kids and an Australian shepherd. I worked for them full time for 1 year and now that the kids are older I do occasional dog sitting and babysitting for them. I have helped train their dog, taken her for many walks, feed, play and groom her as well. I have spent over nights dog sitting while they have been out of town. I have also occasionally watched friends cats and engaged with them, fed them and provided overall care.

*CURRENT* Since July of 2026 I have been working casually with a mom and her 4 year old son helping with after school pickups, at home play time and all day care on weekends. Normal tasks include driving him home from daycare, playing with legos, building robots, and drawing, preparing snacks and meals and going to the parks.

For 1 week I assisted with some last minute care for a family in North Van with 3 children. During this week I would arrive in the early mornings, prepare breakfast, get them dressed and ready for the day, then drop off 2/3 kids at various activities throughout the day. While the older kids were at sports I would play with and entertain the youngest (4) at home and play outside, with board games, crafts etc. I would make the kids lunches, pick them up from sports and provide care for all 3 at once. Additional cleaning and laundry tasks were also done around the house.

For 1 year I was the sole nanny to a family of two young children aged 4 and 7. I would start the day getting the kids getting for school, making breakfast and school lunches, doing school drop off and then coming back to the house to clean. I would assist with cleaning the kitchen, children’s rooms and doing family laundry. The family also had a young puppy I would play, train and take on walks. Once a week I would watch the kids in the evenings while the parents were away. I would make dinner, play with them usually outside, at the park, or watching a movie, get them ready for bed and read the youngest books to sleep.
I still occasionally help this family with babysitting and would be able to provide a reference from them
