My name is ! I’m originally from Sri Lanka but was born and raised in Dubai and I moved to Vancouver to continue my studies in Animal Science. Alongside school, I’m looking to connect with families and pet owners in the community who may need a reliable, caring and trustworthy helping hand. I have several years of experience working with both children and animals: 🐾 Pet care: I’ve cared for private clients’ pets for over 5 years, along with personal experience raising my own cats, dog, turtle, bird, and fish. I’ve also worked at the Bunny Café and volunteered in animal shelters, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals and their needs. 👶 Childcare: I’ve provided babysitting for private clients and families for several years, supporting routines, creative play and ensuring a safe, positive environment for kids. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even a turtle, mostly handling daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping their space clean but I’ve also given medication when needed. I’ve even worked with rescues who struggled with trust at first and it meant a lot to see them slowly warm up to me:( I still visit them when I go back home to Dubai. On top of that, I have pets of my own (a dog, cat, bird and turtle) so caring for animals is part of my everyday life.
