Dana V.
I'm a person who enjoys meditation, nature walks, Kundalini yoga, and dancing (Afro and contemporary). I'm very sociable and love learning new things that bring me joy. I enjoy walking dogs, caring for animals, and have been learning English at George Brown College. I'm currently taking a break to focus on work, but plan to continue my studies later. I'm also learning an indigenous language of my country online. I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, laughing, and doing fun, healthy activities. I see life through a lens of wonder, like children and animals do. I enjoy singing, playing the drum, and getting involved in activities that care for the Mother Earth. I'm someone who chose to come to this life to be happy, respect and care for plants and animals, learn, and share that knowledge to care for others.
I grew up surrounded by animals, especially my canine sister. She and I grew up together, and she was my life companion. She taught me to be a good person and care for her in the best way possible. I learned to understand her, listen to her, and became interested in the BARF diet as the best alternative for feeding dogs and cats. When she passed away, many more animals came into my life for me to care for. People around me know how much I love animals, so they'd often ask me to care for their pets when they'd travel. I'm still surrounded by animals; I live with two cats and recently cared for my cousin's dogs for several days, which was a blast. I've been studying English at George Brown, but I've taken a break to focus on working, especially as a dog walker or animal caregiver, as it's something that makes me happy. I'm currently studying on my own and have taken courses on ethology.
