I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had pets in the house: dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even a few exotic animals. Caring for such a variety taught me early on how different each species’ needs can be and how much love, patience, and responsibility it takes to keep them happy and healthy. One of my most rewarding experiences was volunteering with a service dog organization, where I independently trained a service dog from puppyhood to task-readiness. That journey gave me hands-on experience in canine behaviour, obedience, and positive reinforcement. Alongside this work, I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, whether it’s walking energetic dogs, caring for cats, or making sure reptiles and birds have the proper environment and diet. Over the years, I’ve managed everything from feeding schedules and grooming to medication routines and daily playtime.
