My name is Karlo. I am a newcomer to Canada and a proud father. I have 15 years of experience and a deep passion for taking care of dogs and birds. During the week, from Monday through Sunday, I am available in the mornings and during the middle of the day, ready and excited to care for your beloved pets. In addition to this, I offer services such as house sitting, drop-in visits for feeding, and dog walking. Furthermore, I am available to look after your house while you’re away on vacation. Being a native Filipino speaker, I am proficient in English and possess a police verification certificate. I started my passion back in 2009 with my very first shih tzu named Affinity, which I gifted to my girlfriend and became our first baby. She then gave us a lot of puppies to care for and love. In 2017, my wife and I bought a chowchow named Cotton, our lucky charm, who won many dog fashion contests. My wife became the Vice President of the Cabanatuan Dog Society in our town in the Philippines in 2017, and I am also a member. In 2021, I adopted a dog named Lucy, a Doberman, because her owner (an Army) was deployed far away. It is challenging to have a guard dog that requires a lot of exercise. In 2024, I adopted a Rottweiler because her owner became too busy due to having a baby and no longer had time for her. I also enjoy taking care of love birds as it brings happiness and pure bliss listening to their sounds. I hope that my experience and love for dogs and birds will give me a chance for the job.
