Morganna B.
I've been caring for pets on and off for over eight years, including dogs, cats, and small birds. My regulars have consisted of a medium-sized mixed breed dog recovering from a car accident who was semi-incontinent, which required a lot of attentiveness to her cues and gentle reassurance when accidents happened. I've also cared for an oversized Maltese with severe allergies (and an uncanny ability to find all the food she shouldn't eat), a Great Pyrenees who firmly believed the indoors where for lesser beings, an elderly ginger tom who need subcutaneous fluids every two days, a Bengal who thrived on constant play and attention, and a Maine Coon who preferred quiet companionship at a polite distance. I tailor my care to each animal's unique personality and the family's expectations - whether that means quiet cuddle time, enrichment and play, or long outdoor walks and hikes. Animals seem to sense that I genuinely enjoy their company, and I take pride in keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy while their people are away. Outside of pet care, I'm a parent of three and work with children and families in the community, so reliability, patience, and clear communication are second nature to me.
I have over eight years of on-and-off experience house - and pet-sitting for families with dogs (both large, small and gigantic breeds), cats, and small birds such as budgies, cockatiels, finches, and even one dove. I've also cared for an elderly cat who required subcutaneous fluids - an adventure in patience and gentle handling! I tailor my care to each family's expectations and each pet's needs: whether that means quiet indoor company and playtime, or long outdoor hikes in the elements followed by a good rinse. My goal is always to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable in their routines while providing owners peace of mind
