I'm Caroline, a die-hard animal lover from St Catharines, having shared my heart and home with three dogs and two cats myself. With six years of experience under my belt, I have developed a deep understanding of the affection and attention our furry friends require. Trustworthy, patient, and devoted, my primary concern is to ensure your pets are joyous, secure and well-attended, providing them with the comfort they deserve. From feeding to walking, engaging them in fun activities, or simply snuggling them, I'm available to cater to all your pet's needs. My schedule is flexible, and I'm available throughout the week, including mornings, evenings and nights depending on the day and I'm prepared to start immediately. As a responsible and true animal-enthusiast, I'm not only capable of taking care of senior and special needs dogs but also highly energetic ones. I can administer oral medication, provide daily exercise, and even brush their teeth/fur. My services range from drop-in visits, for feeding and playtime, to dog walking, doggy day care, and house sitting. I am comfortable with all pets, be it cats, dogs, fish, or rodents. Although I do not possess a driver's license, I am willing to travel and make your pet feel loved and cherished just as they are at home. As a non-smoker with strong swimming abilities and being fluent in English and Portuguese, I ensure a safe and diverse environment for pet care. While I am a Brazilian citizen, I'm open to obtaining a police check if necessary. I look forward to the prospect of caring for your cherished pets and keeping them company. They aren't just animals; they are family too! Let's enrich their lives together. My name is Caroline, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I love life with small animals. I have been grooming animals at home for two years. Because of the epidemic, many pet shops are closed, so I opened a grooming studio at home to help the pets of residents near my home. I passed the junior certificate of pet grooming, and I have no problem doing basic grooming work. I have also helped cats and dogs who need to stay at home because of business trips. Because all my pets are rescued. In addition to fish (because I like it), Ben, the smallest puppy in the family, was abandoned because of a car accident and developed a psychological resistance to humans. After he came to my house, he showed aggression and hostility to everything. Because of the car accident, one of his front legs was broken and he needed to take medicine every day. I had to wear thick gloves to feed the medicine for several consecutive days. And I stayed with him every day, getting close to him little by little. Finally, he was able to walk into the house by himself and learned to go to bed by himself. Marble's original owner was moving, so I took him in. But in the summer, due to acute encephalitis caused by the genes carried by his parents, he developed cataracts, so he needed special care and eye drops every day. (No need now) And learned to sense with his nose. The toys I bought have improved its nose and ears. I like animals and have been dealing with them since I was a child. I also raise many animals myself. I have two cats at home, one is fat and is called Taro (he is losing weight), and the other is timid and greedy and is called Fa Gao; I also have two dogs, the biggest one is called Peanut (the eldest in the family, but very friendly to people and all small animals, a Chinese rural dog); the second one is called Ben, a little girl, the youngest in the family, and treats everyone equally (lively); I also have a lively lop-eared rabbit named Marble, but it has cataracts but is particularly strong; and a betta fish named Blue, it likes to interact with everyone. I have my own way of feeding medicine. I often take care of sick animals. I have also raised newborn birds. My big dog picked up a bird whose nest was destroyed by the strong wind, so I took it home. I am very patient and friendly. I am an experienced pet caregiver based in Niagara Falls. With over 40 years of personal experience with my own pets and 2 years of professional pet sitting, I am well-versed in handling a variety of pet care needs. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, from terriers to a black Lab, and also have experience with pets that require special care and attention. My previous role involved caring for a special needs dog with epilepsy, which included feeding, exercise, administering medication, and providing comfort during seizures. I also managed light housekeeping duties post-seizure. Being a non-smoker and fluent in English, I aim to provide a comfortable and understanding environment for your pet. Apart from this, I have also volunteered at the Niagara Falls Humane Society as a dog walker, receptionist, and a helper in their cat centre. This means I'm not only comfortable, but love working with dogs as well as cats. My duties can include first aid/CPR, administering oral medication, care for senior and high-energy pets, and grooming tasks such as brushing teeth/fur. I am available for drop-in visits and dog walking from morning to mid-day throughout the week, including Saturdays. Please note that I am not able to bring pets into my own home, but I do have a driver's license and a vehicle that I can use for work purposes. As a responsible pet caregiver, I am willing to obtain a police check if necessary. I am excited to start from the 5th of January, 2026 and look forward to providing excellent care for your pets. I have 2 years experience being a pet sitter for a special needs dog with epilepsy. My duties included a daily walk, feeding, administering meds, light housekeeping and playtime. Personally, I have had over 40 years experience of taking care of my own dogs, from little terriers to a black lab. I have volunteered, in the past, at the Niagara Falls Humane Society as a dog walker, receptionist and in their cat centre.
