For 13 years, I have shared my life with Milo, a Teddy (Poodle with a teddy bear trim), and for the past 6 years, two cats, Luna and Max, have joined our family. Luna and Max, adopted 6 years ago, added a different dynamic. Cats are low-maintenance but full of personality— Luna is aloof until she wants cuddles, while Max is a curious troublemaker. Litter training was easy, but keeping them off counters took patience. Their purring companionship balances Milo’s gentle energy. Together, they have taught me adaptability— Milo needs gentle care now, while the cats demand play. Feeding, grooming, and vet visits are a juggling act, but the chaos is worth it. Thirteen years with a Teddy and six years with two cats have filled my home with love, fur, and endless stories.
