Yu Z.
I am Yura, a passionate and dedicated pet care provider based in Richmond. I have been working in the pet care industry for 2 years, specializing in a wide array of duties including oral medication administration, care for special needs and senior pets, providing daily exercise for high-energy pets, and brushing teeth/fur. My experience has granted me the opportunity to work with a variety of animals such as cats, dogs, birds, and fish. I offer drop-in visits where I can feed and play with your pets, as well as expert dog walking services. I have wide availability, accessible from midday until evening every day of the week for your convenience. However, I am unable to bring pets to my home. At 32, I have acquired an abundance of exposure and understanding when it comes to catering to unique needs, ensuring your furry friends feel comfortable and well cared for. I am ready to start immediately and look forward to meeting your pets and ensuring they are well cared for in your absence.
For 13 years, I have shared my life with Milo, a Teddy (Poodle with a teddy bear trim), and for the past 6 years, two cats, Luna and Max, have joined our family. Each pet has brought unique joys and lessons. Milo came to me as a month-old pup. Raising him meant bottle-feeding at first, then grooming his curly coat and keeping up with his clever, playful nature. Over 13 years, he has gone from a boundless explorer to a gray-muzzled senior who loves naps more than walks. His loyalty and love have been constants through every stage. Luna and Max, adopted 6 years ago, added a different dynamic. Cats are low-maintenance but full of personality— Luna is aloof until she wants cuddles, while Max is a curious troublemaker. Litter training was easy, but keeping them off counters took patience. Their purring companionship balances Milo’s gentle energy. Together, they have taught me adaptability— Milo needs gentle care now, while the cats demand play. Feeding, grooming, and vet visits are a juggling act, but the chaos is worth it. Thirteen years with a Teddy and six years with two cats have filled my home with love, fur, and endless stories.
