I have had numerous pets (mostly dogs, cats and birds, one rabbit) since my children were young. Currently there is one cat in our home who is loved and well cared for. Animals give so much to we humans that I feel it is our responsibility to give back, whether they be strays, abused in the past or lucky enough to only know a loving home.
