I’m Deirdre, a lifelong animal lover who has always been surrounded by pets, especially dogs. Since childhood, I’ve had the joy of growing up with these amazing creatures, and they’ve truly brought so much happiness into my life. After losing my last dog to an illness a few years ago, I realized how much I missed their presence and the love they bring. Offering pet sitting and boarding services allows me to enjoy their fun-loving nature once again, even if just for a while :) I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from puppies to senior dogs. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained valuable experience with pets of different temperaments. About My Services 🐾 Dog Boarding & Sitting: Your pet will receive individual attention, playtime, and two daily walks. I only board one dog at a time to ensure a stress-free and comfortable environment. 🐾 Dog Walking: Walks are 30–45 minutes long, depending on your dog’s needs, with one or two walks offered per day. 🐾 Medication Administration: I can administer oral medication if required. Please provide detailed instructions in advance. 🐾 Basic Care & Supervision: While I don’t offer training or grooming, I ensure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for during their stay. Time & Availability I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pet. During boarding, pets are never left alone for more than 3 hours. I supervise your pet throughout the day to ensure your pet is safe and happy. Home & Environment 🏡 I live in a pet-friendly home with no other pets, making it a calm and stress-free space for your dog. 🛏️ Guest pets are welcome to sleep in my room or in a cozy designated space, depending on their routine. 🌳 While I don’t have a backyard, I ensure regular outdoor breaks and walks in nearby parks (about 200m away). With over 10 years of experience in pet care, I am a 32-year-old woman named Deirdre located in Oakville. I am available to start immediately and can provide care for cats, dogs, and fish. I am skilled in Animal First aid/CPR and able to administer oral and injected medication for dogs. I am experienced in taking care of senior and special needs animals, as well as providing daily exercise and grooming services. I am available for drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, boarding, doggy day care, grooming, and transportation. I am a responsible pet lover with a driver's license and the ability to bring pets to my home if needed. I am fluent in English and willing to obtain a police check.
