Vanessa S.
I’m a reliable, caring, and active person based in North Vancouver who has always loved animals, the outdoors, and staying active. I currently work toward becoming a firefighter, and I take pride in being physically fit, dependable, and calm under pressure. I have experience working with the District of North Vancouver as a Labourer, Acting Crew Lead, Park Ranger, and in Solid Waste operations, where I developed strong teamwork, communication, leadership, and responsibility skills. Outside of work, I run a wildlife and pet photography business and spend a lot of time hiking, exploring nature, camping, and photographing wildlife. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I owned my dog Koda for 14 years, currently have a puppy named Copper, and also have a cat named Cleo. Through years of pet ownership, I understand the importance of patience, exercise, routine, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I’m known for being hardworking, compassionate, trustworthy, and easy to get along with, and I would treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own.
I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of different ages and personalities. I owned my dog Koda for 14 years and now care for my puppy Copper as well as my cat, Cleo. Through my experience with dogs and cats, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, attention, and making pets feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their well-being, routine, and happiness. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or simply giving them calm and attentive care, I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and making sure they feel loved and cared for while their owners are away.
