My name is Ava and I’m a second year business student at uvic! I’m from North Vancouver and will be there over the Christmas break but am currently living in Victoria. I have a 5-year old golden retriever have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, so I’m very familiar with pet ownership and responsibility. I’m very active and love to spend as much time as possible outside. I do lots of walks and hikes here in Victoria and back home in North Van as well. Most of my employment endeavours haven’t been animal related, however I’ve had animals all my life, mainly dogs and cats, and have worked as a babysitter for families around my neighbour hood for a few years. Formally, my jobs have consisted of working at coffee shops and bakeries.
