My name is Joanne and I am currently enrolled in a veterinary assistant program, set to graduate this coming March. Pets and their well-being have always been a passion of mine, and I believe this is evident through my six years of dedicated experience in the pet care industry. I am eager to start immediately and am available for services from Monday to Friday, morning through mid-day. As a mother who is fully committed to a smoke-free environment, I take my responsibilities very seriously. I am able to perform a variety of services such as drop-in visits to feed and play, walking dogs, administering first aid/CPR, caring for senior animals or those with special needs, giving oral medications, facilitating daily exercise for high-energy animals, and attending to grooming needs like brushing teeth and fur. I enjoy working with all kinds of pets including cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, and even exotic animals. In addition to my practical experience, I have also acquired formal education in Animal First Aid/CPR. I am committed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your pets, and I am willing to obtain a police check if necessary. I am fluent in Portuguese and comfortable communicating in both Canadian and Portuguese settings. Please note, however, that I don't have a driver's license and am unable to transport pets as part of the job. Overall, my goal is to provide the highest degree of care to your pets and treat them as if they were my own. Your peace of mind is my top priority!

I am in school becoming a veterinary assistant at the moment. I am also an early childhood educator as well . I love animals I have a huge passion for them ! I have had pets such as parrots, cats, and dogs ! I have experience walking 3 dogs at a time I have been watching animals since I was 12 years old .

I am working on my veterinary assistant course right now and will graduate in March .
