I have 14 years of professional experience in pet care, enriched by a lifetime of personal affection towards animals. My experience includes running a successful pet sitting business along with my husband for 10 years when I lived in BC, and I have a special skill in understanding and loving animals, to which they usually respond favourably. Having pets myself, I know how they mean to you so rest assured that they will be given utmost care and love under my watch. I am available around the clock from Monday to Sunday, ready to provide several services to make your pet feel loved and cared for even in your absence. This includes administering both oral and injected medication, taking care of senior or special needs pets, providing the requisite daily exercise for high-energy pets and even taking care of grooming needs such as teeth/ fur brushing. I can do drop-in visits for feeding and playtime, dog-walking, transportation, house sitting, boarding and even pet training. My skills aren't limited to dogs and cats. I am also comfortable with a diverse range of pets from exotic animals and reptiles to birds, fish and even farm animals. I have a certification in Animal First aid and CPR, while examining or administering medication safely. I am fluent in English, Italian, and Portuguese, so language is never a barrier in understanding and catering to your preferences. As a non-smoker and an active lifestyle enthusiast, when dogs are in my care, they get plenty of exercise through walks and hikes. Incorporating fun activities like fetch and laser light chase with dogs and cats keeps them engaged and happy. When we lived in Victoria, BC I owned a pet sitting business for 10 years. My experience is vast: dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, bunnies, rodents, chickens, horses, donkeys and sheep. I mostly worked with dogs and cats. My husband was my assistant when I wasn't available.

We have attended several dog training classes throughout the years. I also attended Agility and Dance classes with my dog. I volunteered at a Veterinary office many years ago and assisted in; surgeries, appointment assistant to Veterinarian, kennel maintenance, dog walking, reception and post-op care.
