Currently we own 2 rough collies, my son has a standard poodle and we all have a rescue cat. My horse was put to rest a few sad years ago. The tortoise went to a sanctuary for mobility problems, the 3 ball pythons went to a children's home. I sent the feeďer rats along no charge. The birds lived long healthy lives, as did the fish. Our family believes no animal gets left behind so strays are lucky when they find us. As a working mother, who had skills tradable whenever I chose to employ them I became a full time mum of twin boys. We started our journey in Wellington New Zealand then landed in Sydney Australia. 6 more years then back to Wellington to have the twins. Since then my life has revolved around my own children and family and friends who needed help. I adore young children, their fresh perspective on life energizes me. In 2005 we came back to Canada 🇨🇦 to help with aging parents. Included in every step of our life have been cats, dogs, horses, sheep, cows, snakes, rats, birds, fish and a Mascot like Roy the giant snail we kept in France while in immersion.
