I am a 50 year old woman, live in Gatineau, and a retired federal public servant. I had cats and dogs my whole life, and with my latest one passing away, I decided to sell my house and move into a small condo for a simpler way of life. With this new stage of my life and being a huge animal lover, I’ve decided that instead of adopting other animals, I would love and care other folk’s animals. Being an avid jogger/walker, I can take any size dog on a walk and ensure they get all their senses met (walk, run, smell the grass, look around, and stop as often as they need for relieve themselves comfortably). I am also very patient for all types of shy and reclusive cats where I am quite successful to get them out of their shell and gain their trust, to ensure they get social interactions and eat. Having had adopted special needs cats and dogs, I am accustomed to administer the intake of pills, injections, and various health issues such as arthritis, anxious, skin allergies, blindness, deafness. I just love them all, small, big, funny, awkward, energetic, shy, silly, playful! We could certainly meet or discuss prior to see if I am the right fit for your furry family member! Having been a cat and dog owner for the past 30 years, I had many cats at once with one dog (mixed german sheppard and border collie). I also volunteered for many years at the Gatineau SPCA and the Human Society International.
