So I started at Petland when I was 14, and it was my first job. I learned so much about animals and animal care through their training programs. I had a gecko growing up, and fish, and now I have a cat who is the love of my life. We also have a family dog, and I did most of the training with her (she's much better behaved for me than she is for my parents). I've always jumped at the opportunity to stay at people's places when they need someone to watch their critter, so I've also had lots of experience in that way. I bring to the table a genuine and gentle love of animals.

I have been a pet lover my entire life; I have always had an animal of my own. I worked for Petland for three years and PetSmart for a short time. I have also pet sat for many friends over the years.
